Rural Family Practitioner in the Highlands of Scotland before becoming an Academic in the Department of General Practice at University of Dundee. Came to Canada 2003 to be founding Associate Dean Northern Medical Program. Retired 2022 after serving one term as Rural Doctors’ UBC Chair in rural health. Affiliated with Rural Co-ordination Centre of British Columbia.
