About

I am a grounded community-engaged scholar whose work focuses on harnessing the power of academic-community partnerships to tackle pressing social work challenges. With extensive experience in my native Palestine, Southwest Asia, North Africa, and Turtle Island, I have been consistently worked on partnerships that advanced policies and practices that promote social justice, human rights, and community resilience. I am excited to join the HRI member and looks forward to collaborating with colleagues to honor En Cha Huná, foster innovative and inclusive social change across our communities for our collective well-being and becoming.
